The DSPower DS-M005 2g Micro Digital Servo is a compact digital coreless servo designed for applications where weight, size and precision are critical. With an operating voltage range of 3.7-4.2V, fast transit speeds of roughly 0.08sec to 0.06sec per 60° and stall torque up to 0.30kgf·cm, it gives you crisp, repeatable control in very tight spaces. The small 16.1 × 8.3 × 17.2mm case and JR lead make it easy to route into slim wings, narrow fuselages and small mechanisms without adding unnecessary mass.
This 2g class micro servo is a solid choice for DLG (Discus Launch Glider) elevator and aileron duties, F3P and indoor aerobatic models, ultra light parkflyers, small gliders and compact robotics projects. The digital electronics and coreless motor help the DS-M005 hold centre well and respond quickly to small inputs, so trim changes and fine corrections feel predictable rather than vague. At roughly 3.24g with a 150mm JR style lead, it is best suited to lightly loaded control surfaces and linkages that are free moving and properly hinged.
In practical RC use the DSPower DS-M005 2g Micro Digital Servo works well anywhere you need accurate movement without the bulk of a 5g or 9g servo, provided the control loads stay within its torque rating. It is a good match for single cell LiPo powered receivers or regulated low voltage systems, and is a useful upgrade from generic micro servos when you want better centering, lower weight and a cleaner installation in performance oriented models.
