No. It only binds to receivers that use the FlySky AFHDS protocol. It will not bind to AFHDS 2A receivers, even if the receiver brand is FlySky.
The set is commonly supplied with a FlySky 3 channel AFHDS receiver, and the exact receiver model can vary by batch or supplier, for example FS-GR3C or FS-GR3E. The key requirement is AFHDS compatibility and 3 channel surface use.
Plug the steering servo into CH1 and the ESC signal lead into CH2. CH3 is optional for accessories. Align the plug polarity correctly, the black or brown wire should be on the negative side of the receiver pins.
The FS-GT2B is designed for typical RC car and boat use and will comfortably cover normal driving distances in open areas. Real range depends heavily on installation and interference, so keep the receiver antenna away from motor and battery wires, avoid crushing or kinking the antenna, and mount the receiver securely to prevent signal issues.
