The WLtoys 22206 1/22 4WD Drift RC Car RTR is a small electric drift car that brings 2.4GHz radio control into a simple, easy to live with package. A 130 strong magnetic brushed motor and full time 4WD drivetrain provide enough power for around 15km/h on smooth surfaces, which feels quick at this size without being unmanageable. The 2.4GHz pistol grip radio gives simple left or right steering and a high or low speed setting, so you can slow the car down for younger drivers or run it at full speed when you want to drift and slide around cones.
A 3.7V 600mAh Li-ion battery is included along with a USB charger, giving roughly 15 to 20 minutes of driving and straightforward plug in charging from a USB port. The car has an LED lighting system with several modes, long on, fast flash, slow flash and off, controlled from the transmitter, which adds a nice effect for evening driving and indoor drifting. WLtoys supplies the 22206 with PP smooth drift tyres pre fitted plus an extra set of TPR racing tyres, so you can choose between easy sliding on polished surfaces and more grip for general driving without buying extra wheels straight away.
The 1/22 scale chassis has a length of about 19.5cm, width around 8cm and height about 5.7cm, so it runs happily in living rooms, driveways, small car parks and on other smooth outdoor surfaces. The PVC body shell is flexible and impact resistant, and the overall weight is around 156g which helps the car bounce rather than break in typical crashes. Everything comes ready to run in the box, car, 2.4GHz transmitter, drive battery, USB charger and manual, you just add AA batteries for the transmitter and you are driving.
