Hobbywing Skywalker 80A V2 Brushless ESC

The Hobbywing Skywalker 80A V2 is a brushless speed controller for electric RC fixed wing aircraft that need a dependable 80A class ESC with a built in BEC. It is suited to sport planes, larger trainers and other fixed wing setups where 3 to 6S LiPo compatibility and a strong 5V 7A BEC are important for the rest of the onboard electronics.

This version of the Skywalker series adds practical aircraft focused features such as reverse brake, linear reverse brake, normal brake and brake disabled modes, along with search mode to help locate a model after a landing away from the strip. Hobbywing also includes DEO active freewheeling technology to improve throttle response, efficiency and operating temperature.

For fitment, the Skywalker 80A V2 comes with no battery input connector fitted, 4mm female gold motor connectors already installed, and separate throttle, reverse brake and programming leads attached to the ESC. That makes it important to confirm your battery connector choice, current draw and airframe space before installation.
