MN82 Supertourer Toyota Land Cruiser Brushed 4WD RTR 1/12 Truck Crawler - Silver

The MN82 Supertourer Brushed Toyota 4WD RTR 1/12 Truck Crawler is a detailed small scale replica of the LC79 Supertourer built on a capable 4WD crawler chassis. A 280 strong magnetic brushed motor, low gearing and locked style axles give the truck enough torque for slow technical driving, while proportional steering and throttle on the 2.4GHz radio let you place the wheels accurately on rocks, roots and obstacles. The radio includes a two stage speed setting so you can use a gentler mode for tight indoor or garden courses and a stronger mode for more open trail runs.

Power comes from a 7.4V 1200mAh Li-ion battery which typically gives 30 to 40 minutes of mixed crawling and trail driving and charges in about 3 hours using the supplied USB style charger. The MN82 Supertourer is rated for a maximum climbing angle of around 46 degrees, which is more than enough for garden rockeries, crawler parks and man made courses. At 1/12 scale with a body length of about 36cm, width 16cm and height 16cm, it is large enough to look convincing on the trail but still compact enough to carry in a backpack and run in smaller spaces like gardens and indoor obstacle layouts.

The officially licensed Toyota Land Cruiser LC79 Supertourer body is moulded in ABS with a good level of scale detail and a full LED system that covers headlights, brake lights, indicators and reverse lights. Underneath, the ladder frame style chassis uses a mix of plastic and metal parts to keep weight sensible while remaining robust for crawler use. Out of the box you get the assembled truck, a 2.4GHz pistol grip transmitter, 7.4V 1200mAh battery, USB charger, manual and accessories, so you only need to add AA batteries for the transmitter before heading out to drive.
