The Savox SG-0351 Digital Standard Servo is a reliable standard size servo for general RC use where smooth proportional control and consistent centering matter more than extreme torque numbers. It uses a brushed DC motor driving industrial grade plastic gears, supported by dual ball bearings on the output shaft for reduced friction and stable operation. Running on a typical receiver voltage of 4.8V to 6.0V, it delivers around 3.2kg/cm torque at 4.8V and up to 4.1kg/cm at 6.0V, with a transit speed of 0.22sec/60° at 4.8V and 0.17sec/60° at 6.0V.
With standard dimensions of 40.7 × 20.0 × 37.0mm and a weight of 41g, the SG-0351 drops straight into most standard servo mounts in sport planes, trainers, helicopters and 1/10 scale cars. A 25 tooth output spline makes it compatible with common servo arms and horns, and the 300mm three wire lead with JR style connector plugs directly into most modern receivers and gyro systems. The servo is specified to operate from -10°C to 50°C with a 240Hz refresh rate, giving predictable behaviour across a range of conditions.
In practical RC setups the Savox SG-0351 works well as a throttle or auxiliary servo in larger glow and gas models, a primary control servo in smaller electric sport planes and park flyers, or as a steering and throttle servo in 1/10 scale surface models. It offers a sensible balance of torque, speed and durability for everyday flying and driving, without the cost or power draw of high voltage high torque units.
