This bright red iron on covering film is designed for finishing radio control planes and other small model aircraft. It provides a consistent colour finish over balsa, ply and similar airframes and helps tidy up the surface for a clean, simple look.
The film is applied with a covering iron or suitable heat tool. As it is heated it shrinks slightly, which allows you to remove small wrinkles and tighten the covering over the structure. It can be used on wings, tail surfaces and fuselages on most sport, trainer and general purpose models when applied to a clean, well prepared airframe.
This covering is suitable for new builds or for repairing existing models where you want to restore a solid bright red finish. It also works well for adding trim such as stripes, wing tips and colour accents on multi colour schemes.
