This yellow iron on covering film is designed for finishing radio control planes and other small model aircraft. It provides a consistent colour finish over balsa, ply and similar airframes and helps give the model a clean, simple look.
The film is applied with a covering iron or suitable heat tool. As it warms it shrinks slightly, which helps remove small wrinkles and tightens the film over the structure. It is suitable for wings, tail surfaces and fuselages on most sport and trainer models when used on a clean, prepared airframe.
This covering is suitable for new builds or repairs where you want to restore a solid yellow finish. It can also be used for basic trim work such as stripes, wing tips and simple colour accents.
