This black iron on covering film is designed for finishing radio control planes and small model aircraft. It provides a solid, uniform colour over balsa, ply and similar airframes and gives the model a clean, simple overall look.
The film is applied with a covering iron or suitable heat tool. When heated it shrinks slightly, helping remove small wrinkles and tightening the film over the structure. It is suitable for wings, tail surfaces and fuselages on most sport and trainer models when used on a clean, prepared airframe.
This covering works for new builds or for repairs where you want to restore a consistent black finish. It can also be used for basic trim work such as stripes, wing tips and contrast accents.
