This wathet blue iron on covering film is designed for finishing radio control planes and other small model aircraft. It provides a smooth, even colour finish over balsa, ply and similar airframes and helps give the model a neat, simple appearance.
The film is applied with a covering iron or suitable heat tool. As it warms it shrinks slightly, which helps remove light wrinkles and tightens the film over the structure. It is suitable for wings, tail surfaces and fuselages on most sport and trainer style models when used on a clean, prepared airframe.
This covering is suitable for new builds or repairs where you want to restore a solid wathet blue finish. It can also be used for trim work such as stripes, wing tips and basic colour accents.
